Tawna Tourle
Clinical Psychologist

M Psych (Clin), Pg Dip (Psych), BSc (Psych)

Tawna has over 10 years’ experience as a psychologist supporting young people and adults in hospitals, schools, welfare, and other organisations. Tawna’s therapeutic approach is warm, engaging, and collaborative. With her calm, caring manner she enables clients to feel safe, at ease, and free to explore big feelings and overwhelming thoughts. Tawna is highly skilled in adapting change strategies derived from evidence-based therapy frameworks to individual client needs. She is passionate about helping others to manage stress and anxieties such as social, performance, generalised, OCD, panic, and phobias.

As a mother of three young children, Tawna enjoys working with women and families navigating the perinatal period and adjustment to parenting. Where needed, she has the skills to sensitively assist clients working through grief or loss.

Tawna's work at Headspace and in private school settings in recent years sparked her interest in supporting students through the stresses of school, friendship and family relationship challenges, and early identification and management of mental health concerns.

Tawna is an AHPRA-endorsed clinical psychologist, with a Master of Psychology (Clinical). She is a certified facilitator of Circle of Security and Tuning into Teen’s parenting programs.
