Merran Cunningham

Merran provides psychological support to adolescents and adults experiencing a range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, and has a particular interest in trauma-related difficulties, such as interpersonal conflict, difficulties around self-worth, and attachment issues.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing on evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

Additionally, Merran has completed accredited training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Schema Therapy which helps to identify and process ongoing negative life patterns and core beliefs.

Merran has experience working with LGBTIQA+ and adult neurodivergent populations. Merran also volunteers with a cancer charity, providing emotional support to survivors and their families.
