Julie is a registered psychologist who has over 20 years of diverse experience working with individuals across a wide range of issues and concerns. She is passionate about working with adults and adolescents through challenges, uncertainty, and stress, assisting and empowering them to move towards growth and change.
Julie is gentle, warm, compassionate, and collaborative in her therapeutic approach. She draws from a variety of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy. Julie has always been committed to utilising evidence-based and best-practice approaches to ensure the most suitable and effective interventions for individuals. Julie has a particular interest and experience working with individuals with anxiety, stress, and depression.
Julie is an AHPRA-endorsed Registered Psychologist with an Honours of Psychology, Bachelor of Arts-Psychology and Bachelor of Science. She is a Member of the of the Australia Psychological Society (MAPS).
