Jayden is a warm and friendly psychologist passionate about creating a safe space for people to be their authentic selves. He endeavours to provide non-judgemental support to both adolescents and adults. Upon completion of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Jayden then went on to complete a Master of Professional Psychology at The University of Newcastle.
Jayden strives to provide gold standard evidence-based practice to a range of presenting problems. He has years of experience working primarily with adolescents and young adults. He has also frequently applied his practice to culturally and linguistically diverse and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Jayden has developed a clinical skill set which allows him to draw upon varying therapeutic modalities using a person-centred approach including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing.
Jayden has great awareness around the importance of the therapeutic alliance between client and clinician. He focuses on the individual and tailors treatment to their specific needs.
In his spare time, Jayden is an avid reader with a keen interest in fantasy novels who also enjoys watching Marvel and DC films, snow boarding, and travelling.
