Amanda has over 20 years of experience working as a psychologist, with expertise as a counsellor and coach in corporate and university settings. Most recently she has worked in a university setting supporting students across a broad range of issues and concerns. She is passionate about supporting people and organisations through change, stress and periods of personal growth.
Amanda uses a strength-based and trauma-informed focus. She draws on Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Psychotherapy when working with her clients. She is flexible in her thinking and encourages a two-way dialogue, drawing on the strengths and values of her clients to encourage and enable positive change. She enjoys working with a broad range of people and has particular experience working with young adults, university students and people experiencing or seeking a career transition. She enjoys supporting people with anxiety, depression, health concerns, relationship issues, general well-being concerns and motivational issues.
Amanda is a Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Incorporated (AAPI) and the Association for Contextual Behaviour Science (ACBS).
